Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 13, 2026
Ads Handled ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website adshandled.com and provides digital advertising management and AI phone-receptionist services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information.
Google User Data & Google Calendar Integration
Ads Handled offers an optional Google Calendar integration for our paying business clients who use our AI receptionist service. If a client chooses to connect their Google Calendar, our AI receptionist can check the client's real-time availability and create appointment events on the client's behalf when a caller books a job — so the caller is booked during the call instead of waiting for a callback. Connecting Google Calendar is entirely optional; clients who do not connect it still receive every captured lead by text and email.
- What we access. With the client's explicit consent through Google's standard OAuth screen, we request access to the client's Google Calendar to view availability (
calendar.readonly) and to create and manage the appointment events our receptionist books (calendar.events). We request only the minimum scopes needed to provide the booking feature.
- How we use it. Google Calendar data is used solely to provide the client-facing appointment-booking feature — reading free/busy availability and writing the appointments the client's own callers request. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not use it to train generalized AI/ML models.
- How we store it. When a client connects Google Calendar, Google issues us a secure access credential (a refresh token) tied to that client's account. We store that credential encrypted and use it only to perform the availability checks and bookings described above. Our application's Google API credentials are kept in server-side environment configuration and are never exposed to callers or other clients.
- What we do not do. We do not sell, rent, or transfer Google user data to third parties; we do not use it for advertising or profiling; and we do not allow humans to read it except (a) with the client's explicit consent, (b) as necessary for security or to comply with applicable law, or (c) where the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
- Revoking access. A client can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from their Ads Handled settings, or revoke our access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Once revoked, we stop accessing the calendar and delete the stored credential.
Limited Use disclosure. Ads Handled's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
SMS / Text Message Program
Ads Handled offers an optional SMS notification program for our own paying business clients. When a client's advertising campaign generates a new sales lead, we send a text message to the business owner so they can follow up quickly. Ads Handled is the sender; the recipient is the business owner who signed up for our advertising services; the purpose is to notify that client of new leads generated by their campaign.
- Consent is voluntary. Enrolling in text alerts is optional and is not a condition of purchasing or using any Ads Handled service. Clients opt in by providing their mobile number and affirmatively agreeing to receive lead-alert texts during onboarding.
- Message frequency varies based on how many leads a client's campaign generates.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- To opt out, reply STOP at any time; this stops the texts and does not affect the client's advertising service. For help, reply HELP or email hello@adshandled.com.
- No sharing of mobile data. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile opt-in information, mobile phone numbers, or SMS consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Mobile numbers collected for lead alerts are used solely to deliver those lead-alert notifications.
